Jessie Reyez
Recently I have been on the Jessie Reyez wave and appreciating her music much more than I did when I heard her last year. My little sister put me on her when her album Kiddo came out, I think even before. Anywho, I have this thing where I obsess over the interviews the artists has made, and I go on a hunt to find every possible one out there. Well I did that with Jessie recently and she made me an even bigger fan. I love her personality, her energy, her work ethic, the pride she has in her roots, and how passionate she is about song writing. She is a kid at heart just like me and gives no f*** about looking all glammed up. She is a family oriented person and isn’t ashamed of taking her parents everywhere. She is a down ass chick and has no intentions of being anyone other than her self. She’s an incredible human being and I’m thankful for her existence. And yeah I also think she is beautiful. She is my celebrity crush.
Her music has helped me let go and feel more. Live in the moment, and be vulnerable. Thank God for music.
