Kickball Rant

One of my fondest childhood memories from elementary school was playing kickball during gym and recess. I can remember the black top we played on and the types and colors of the kick balls we used. It got me thinking of wanting to join a rec league for adults that play kickball. As I am nearing my 30th bday, I am grappling with the idea of aging and I often find myself trying to refresh my childhood memory. I wish we had a time machine of some sort so we can re-visit those moments. If I had to pick between pausing time or rewinding it, I’d choose rewinding without a doubt.

Last summer I found a handful of old home video tapes, recorded on vhs and hi8 tapes. I took it upon myself (being the tech nerd I am) to convert them into dvd’s but the camera gave out on me. Before the summer is over I’m going to take them to a store that does it because the last thing I want is to screw up something so valuable. I have this one very embarrassing tape where I am dancing to *NSYNC’s “Bye, bye, bye” after my birthday party was over. I was so into it and I really thought I was owning the moment lol… that one will be hilarious to watch again.
